“HUMMER H2 – KING-SIZE AMERICA!”

Wilmington, USA – Its final hour came in 2009. After just eight years of production and exactly 153,026 vehicles, General Motors ceased production of the HUMMER H2. The entire brand was interred with it. Until now! With the HUMMER EV, GMC introduces a new all-electric pickup supertruck. With 1,000 HP from three electric motors and outstanding off-road capability thanks to its four-wheel drive.

In his 204-page book – “HUMMER H2 – KING-SIZE AMERICA!” – German car journalist Hans-Jürgen Tücherer looks back on the eventful history of the spectacular US off-roader. He relates many entertaining and amusing stories such as its origin as the HMMWV military vehicle or its painful delivery in the GM Group before the start of production in 2002. The English translation is the work of Jürgen Hödel, a German professional translator living in the USA.
