Cairo, Egypt – For many young people, access to quality vocational training can be life-changing—opening doors to stable careers and economic independence. With the goal of directly training 100 youth in the automotive sector within a year, Alashanek Ya Balady has partnered with Stellantis Philanthropy to launch a hands-on training program in automotive mechanics and diagnostics. This initiative equips participants with the skills needed for immediate employment while also providing capacity-building sessions for trainers, focusing on career guidance and life skills. Additionally, the program enhances practical learning by supplying essential training equipment, ensuring students are well-prepared for the industry.
Stellantis Egypt supports this program as part of its commitment to creating a lasting and positive impact in the communities where it operates. This one-year initiative provides hands-on training in a fully equipped workshop, supplemented by valuable internship opportunities to ensure graduates are highly skilled and job-ready. Beyond technical expertise, the program instills a strong emphasis on safety,
professionalism, and lifelong learning, empowering participants to build sustainable careers while driving industry growth and innovation.
The vocational training program will take place over two semesters of comprehensive automotive training and life skills development while also supporting trainers’ fees and capacity-building sessions. Additionally, investments will be made in upgrading practical learning resources, including advanced equipment, diagnostic tools, and vehicles, to provide trainees with hands-on experience using industry-standard tools.

The vocational training program will span one year, from January to December, and will be structured into two semesters. Over the course of the year 100 trainees will participate with an opportunity for top-performing graduates to secure employment opportunities within the automotive industry. To ensure high-quality practical learning, training centers will be fully equipped with vehicles, tools, and modern equipment.
