Cairo, Egypt – Toyota Egypt Group has signed a cooperation agreement with Swiss-based Kardex Remstar, a global leader in automated storage and retrieval systems, marking a significant step in the company’s strategy to expand its integrated industrial and logistics solutions portfolio.
The partnership aligns with Toyota Egypt Group’s vision to enhance operational efficiency across multiple sectors by leveraging advanced, sustainable technologies. Under the agreement, Toyota Egypt Group will offer Kardex’s cutting-edge Vertical Lift Module (VLM) solutions to its customers, enabling businesses to optimize warehouse operations, reduce storage space requirements by up to 85 percent, and improve picking speed and accuracy, while lowering operating costs and energy consumption.
The solutions are also designed to improve workplace safety and sustainability. Toyota Egypt Group will support the systems through its comprehensive after-sales services in Egypt, including technical support, maintenance, and the provision of genuine spare parts, ensuring reliable performance and long-term operational continuity in line with global sustainability trends.
Commenting on the agreement, Ahmed Monsef, CEO of Toyota Egypt Group, said the partnership represents a new milestone in the company’s journey toward delivering fully integrated industrial solutions. “We are proud to partner with Kardex, a global leader in smart storage solutions.
