Mansour Automotive Introduces the All-New Opel Frontera, Opel’s First Seven-Seat SUV in Egypt

Cairo, Egypt – Mansour Automotive Group, Egypt’s largest automotive distributor and the exclusive importer of Opel vehicles, has unveiled the all-new Opel Frontera in the Egyptian market, expanding the brand’s SUV portfolio with its first-ever seven-seat model available locally.

Priced at EGP 1,190,000, the new Frontera is designed to meet the needs of families and customers seeking a versatile SUV that combines contemporary styling, spacious interior accommodation, and everyday practicality. The introduction of a seven-seat configuration marks a significant milestone for the Opel brand in Egypt, offering greater flexibility for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.

The new Frontera is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 130 hp and 230 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The SUV delivers a top speed of 190 km/h, while fuel consumption is rated at 6.1 liters per 100 kilometers, supported by a 44-liter fuel tank.

Measuring 4,385 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, and 1,627 mm in height, with a 2,670 mm wheelbase, the Frontera offers a spacious and flexible interior. Luggage capacity ranges from 40 liters with all seven seats in use, to 460 liters in five-seat configuration, and expands to 1,600 liters when the rear seats are folded.

Inside, the SUV features a modern, technology-focused cabin equipped with a 10-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional convenience features include a wireless smartphone charger, a six-speaker audio system, five USB-C ports, automatic climate control, and a multifunction steering wheel.

The seven-seat interior includes manually adjustable fabric front seats and 60:40 split-folding rear seats, allowing users to optimize passenger and cargo space according to their needs.

Safety remains a key highlight of the new Frontera, which comes equipped with six airbags, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR), cruise control with speed limiter, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), blind spot detection, rain and light sensors, a panoramic rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

The exterior combines bold styling with practical functionality, featuring Eco LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, LED turn signals, front and rear LED fog lamps, 17-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels, electrically adjustable and folding side mirrors, a contrasting black roof, privacy glass, and an emergency spare wheel.

Interior comfort is further enhanced by ambient white lighting, front and rear LED reading lamps, and power windows with one-touch operation for the front windows and one-touch opening for the rear windows.

Customers can choose from six exterior colors: Kanyon Orange, Arctic White, Crystal Silver, Nera Black, Khaki Green, and Bright Blue.
